Mary Kay

A lifetime of experiences always included a love of art and the desire to create beautiful things.

Drawing, painting, and experimenting with various art materials from childhood, Mary Kay continued to include art in all aspects of her life to the present day. She studied art throughout high school, giving her graduation speech titled “Can we live in a world without art?”

Mary Kay continued her art education at Framingham State University, studied watercolor and acrylics at the Worcester Art Museum School and oils with Pierre Theriault, Charlotte Wharton, David Lussier and most recently Mary Moquin.

While raising her family, she taught ceramics, open a gift shop, and later a frame and fine art printing shop. She is a juried member at the Cape Cod Art Center, a member of the Massasoit Art Guild, the Plymouth Center for the Arts, the Sandwich Arts Alliance and the Dennis Monday Painters.

She has won many awards for her paintings, including the CCAC National, All Cape Cod, People’s Choice and All New England exhibits.
